Favorite co-ops?

Recently been playing alot of co op games, I was wondering what are some of your favorites that are on a console? I know there are alot on on arcade but i'm referring to console released games.

Ninja Combat, Sengoku, TMNT 4, TMNT Hyperstone Heist, Golden Axe, Those are a few.

My favorite co-op game was the original Mario Bros for the Atari 5200. My wife and I used to play that for hours!

Double Dragon in the arcade.

The arcade version of Contra. Eons better than the NES version, not to mention the songs are way more awesome in the arcade version. :)

River City Ransom - always just worth the playthrough. Occasionally something happens and the gloves come off for awhile, but a hell of a fun game.

Bubble Bobble - great to play through with a friend. We actually used to play through the NES one all the time but with MAME we've switched to the arcade.

Elevator Action 2/Elevator Action Returns - a favourite of mine, used to play through with my friend every lunch hour for like a year at college.

Dragon Quest 9 - I'm about 35 hours in and 22 of those have been in multiplayer. Having a lot of fun sitting around with a friend playing through it.

Secret of Mana - 3 players in high school was one of my favourite game experiences.

Vectorman has this weird japanese arcade puzzle thing that was actually a lot of fun, I'll point him here so he can speak to its greatness.

Uo Poko is an arcade exclusive puzzle game where the second player plays along with the first on the same board in real-time making for a very fun experience.

It's one of my favorite arcade games with an unfortunately limited distribution.
