GameCube Question

So I recently discovered that the GameCube I own doesn't have the component port. I was just wondering which iterations have it and which don't. Do any of the platinum ones have it? Or is it just indigo and black versions? Thanks for the input.

Most have it, including platinum models.

t was a cost cutting move done late in the system's life. It was eliminated from the hardware in systems produced after May of 2004 (Production concluded in early 2007). I'd say it's fair to say that greater then 80% of the production run had the port.

The units that lack this port carry a model number of DOL-101.

You can't be lead by the colors alone, you should look at the model number. Gamecube model DOL-001 has the Digital port, Gamecube model DOL-101 doesn't. Both model numbers came out in the three colors available in the US.
