Hey, I know this was only available to thru the SEGA Channel in the US years ago but I I know it was released on on cartridge in UK and Japan...am I correct? Well, my question to you guys is 1.Is there a way to buy an import of the Wily Wars and play it on you Genesis...2. Since everyone these days is making homebrews of everything, why hasn't someone made a homebrew of this for Genesis....I am a big Mega Man fan and would want some kind of copy either way..Please Help!!!????

Some members on this forum actually produce a repro of this that's perfectly playable in your US Genesis. I bought one from electrochip sometime back, so maybe you'll want to talk to him.

I bought the European version (only main difference between the Japanese and PAL versions is the name itself) back in the day from Diehard Gamefan (*sigh* the memories) and I still have it....and love it. To answer your question, yes, you can easily play it on a US Genesis by either using an import converter (which I use) or use a Game Genie and simply input one code to play it....

It's a shame the last part that combines 1,2, and 3 was so short. It was so epic!

I know! It was the best part of the game if you ask me. . . and I think the first three Mega Man games are the best three!

I always have to bring this up whenever a WW thread pops up. . .

I got this game for $3 (No case or manual sadly) at a used media shop (a used CD shop that had a few games).

Best find I've ever had. They also had a converter for $3.

Same here, I love my Repro edition. Looks great and matches my library nicely!

I just got this game for $108 shipped on ebay CIB. works like a charm with my game genie.

BTW - the NTSC Japanese version is better than the European version because the EUR has more slowdown.

I have a repro that has NA Genesis art, cart label, and an instruction manual. It even has a save function.
