Martin from NES World sent me several SNES prototypes that he dumped. The first one that I made an article of is for Battle Blaze, a mediocre fighting game. The most interesting thing is that this game has a connection to F-Zero.

Thanks for keeping at it, as always. Not sure what Sammy would need any F-Zero code for a fighting game? Maybe they were using it as some kind of place holder?

As I said in the article, it was likely for the Mode 7 effects.

I remember that game, we rented it once for a few days. Not bad. Pretty impressive "Mode 7" graphics.
