Brand New DKC Hat

A customer of mine has a brand new SNES, brand new DKC, and a brand new DKC hat that was won in a contest back when DKC came out from some radio station.

He was curious how rare and how much the hat is worth. I can't find anything about it. I figured just googling it would bring up a bunch of stuff and pictures, but I have found nothing yet.

See attached picture. In the end it is just a hat and I doubt even if very rare is worth a ton, but I just wanted to get your guy's opinion.

I couldn't tell you anything about value, but that's very cool. :) It's very easy for game-related merchandise, especially stuff like apparel that doesn't have a big collecting following, to slip through the cracks. I've actually done searches for DKC hats on occasion myself to see if there's anything about another hat that I have (one with Diddy on it). I got that and a bunch of other DKC-related goods from the Nintendo Power catalog when the games were new, and I've yet to see that stuff turn up online so I'm not surprised at all that you didn't get any results for your hat.
