Do not want.

I understand where they're coming from on this, and it's great for a trailer, but I would not sit down to watch a full film if they eventually undertook such a project. I'd rather see the Pokemon concept redone as an original franchise for an older audience than a more mature take on the existing universe.

So I assume this is going to be like that live action Mega Man film. Surpirsingly, this does actually look pretty entertaining.

Like I've said in multiple places about old franchises being remade into movies: No.

Some things (Half Life, for example) are designed in such a way that they could make good fan movies such as Escape from City 17. Pokemon, on the other hand, uses animation, since it would hit the uncanny valley like a bullet train for most people, not to mention major editing of the plot and *shudder* Uwe Boll.

I could only see a live action version of Pokemon working if it had the same plot as this fan movie but also had the real Bruce Campbell in it.

Why the hell can't I see this due to NBC Universal, even though I live in the U.S..

You can't see it? It's some homemade type of parody with live people, I don't understand why this would be blocked. There's maybe 10-15 seconds of footage taken from Pokemon and Evil Dead II combined, the rest is new homemade footage. Is anyone else having problems with this?

I think I found a way around it, you can try to use a proxy service that supports flash video. I tried using one to view another video that's blocked in both the US and Canada, and I got it to play fine.

I used this;

Just copy the link I used above and it should work. If it doesn't for some reason, try following the advise given on the site below. It should be helpful not just for the video I posted, but all videos blocked for certain regions.
