I've never even heard of these things and all I can find online for info is a random price listing on some online store with no pics or info and it's not in stock. This is kind of cool but pretty useless since the site to download the games from doesn't even exist anymore. Anyone know much about these, are they collectable, rare or valuable?

I have one of these in the same shape as well, sitting in the closet. I've been wondering the value on it also but just like you I have no idea. I *can* say that a while back I was reading that it is possible to put ROMs on the Game Downloader, but they must have the Nintendo licensed screen removed and they must also fit in the pathetic space on the downloader; from what I had read it has only enough for like one (actual video game) ROM, and since the Pelican-provided freeware games sucked bad I suppose that's why the device doesn't have more of a following.

Btw, I see that someone has some of these new on Amazon for $39.99, if that helps at all. I think that this will be (or has become) a future rarity.

I does seem to be pretty rare like you said. I guess I'll hold onto it since I like collecting Game Boy stuff. Thanks Bro!
