Thought there use to be a MMO topic discussion, but I don't see it. If this is in the wrong place please move this.

Been playing Eve for a few months now. And I must say it is a really deep game. There are so many ways to enjoy the game. You can be a pirate, and if someone hates you enough have a bounty placed on your head in the bounty office so everyone in the universe can see it. You can be a bounty hunter, you can mine, you can maufacture, you can run missions, you can do planetary interaction, the things to do in this game really are limitless. You're basically just a guy out in the univese trying to make a living, whether honest or by killing other players and stealing their cargo, or demanding ransom not to kill them.

And one of the other things that I feel sets it apart from other mmo's is that it doesn't consume your life. You actually get better by training skills, by placing them into a cue sheet, and after a certain amount of time you learn the skill, even when the game is turned off. Which for me is a big plus, cause I hate grinding for exp in games.

And for those of you who feel like you will never pay a monthly fee to play a game you can play for free if you can make enough money by buying PLEX cards with in game money. These give you a free 30 day subcription to the game, or you can buy a plex card from the offical Eve website and sell it to other players for in game money. They even have charity set up where you can donate in game money that goes to victoms of various disasters in real life.

If anyone plays it would be cool to meet you, and since the game is on one giant server there is no worrying about jumping servers. Or if anyone is interested in trying the game you can send me your email address and I can send you a extended trial. Which is I believe 24 days instead of 14. I do get a free month subscription if you do activate your membership after the trial, but I don't care about that. I can play for free now anyway. I just think this game is good enough that if you are into science fiction, and are willing to deal with the harsh learning curve, that this is a game you have to try. So PM me your email addy or hit me up in game if you want to do some stuff together. My in game username is "Gargamale".
