Commodore VIC-20 "generic" boxes

Does anyone know if there is any rhyme or reason to which games came in those generic boxes with the hole in front showing the manual or game-specific boxes?

I really need to get some more boxes with the game name on the spine so I don't have to go searching through a pile of carts to find the one I want!

What I did to make my life easier when searching for a Vic cart is this. I purchased those 3-drawer type stand up plastic containers and organized the carts alphabetically in the drawers. This way I knew what was where and I can easily flip through the carts to find the one I was looking for. Just an idea because boxes are sometimes very hard to find for this system. Those boxes with the hole in the front are just very early boxes. There was many revisions afterwards.
