I have a Nightmare Busters cart (never released, repro) for sell.
$45 shipped takes it. Paypal only. Cart is in great condition. Label has artwork of game. Nightmare Busters is a side-scrolling action game that was scheduled for US SNES release back in the day, but was eventually canned.

Alright, I'm just going to say it:
I made this cart a couple months back for $40 shipped.
I don't appreciate you turning around and trying to make a profit off my work.

Yes, you did make the cart. You did a great job with it. For the record,
I never took credit in my original post trying to claim the cart was my
own work (and if it came off that way to you, I apologize Barte for the
misinterpretation). And yes, you did sell it to me for $40 shipped, so I'll
drop the original $45 asking price to $40 shipped.
Times are a bit tough for me right now. I played the game for several months
and had my fun with it. Now passing it on trying to make back what I bought
it for. It's the cycle of life. Anyway, hope you're still not offended.
Here are pictures of the game for everyone who's asked. Sorry the photos
came out blurry, but rest assured, Barte did a great job with the label and it's
crisp clean.

problem solved.
I take no issue with you selling the cart, just when people try to profit off this stuff when they didn't make it.
that happens on ebay often enough...
anyway, this sale has my blessing now, so here's a sample of the label:

The buyer can sell it for whatever they want, regardless of what the original owner sold it for. Just my two cents. :deadhorse:

Agreed! Everyone profits off each other IF they can or want to. It's a part of life. Since he owns it he can sell it for whatever he wants.

Of course, but my big thing is that i don't want people getting ripped off here.
I mean, yeah, it's just $5, but this is something of a community, so i just thought i'd share that.
anyway, if he was looking to make a profit off of this, he could always take it to ebay.

This isn't really the type of repro to do well on Ebay tho. I agree that people shouldn't flip these for profit, since I think guys like bartre aren't really make much on these and doing it more for the community. But this isn't an Earthbound repro, in fact I can't see anyone being able to even find this on Ebay. Who searchs for games that were never released? LOL

Having made nearly 400 repros that have sold through this and other communities, once the game is sold the buyer has every right to do whatever they want with it. If they make $300 on it, so be it, you already got your asking price, so who cares?
It's not like he was doing some sort of crazy price gouging either, the extra $5 will cover the shipping he paid and paypal fees so that he'll break even. Far from a big deal if you ask me.

I understand that you dont anyone ripped off but the point is people will pay what they want to pay for a game. I see repo's selling for stupid prices all the time ... Thank God I dont own any. lol What if someone wanted to pay $100 for your repo game? You'd sell it. Either way it's never going to sell for the same price of $40 shipped everytime. It's either going to be up or a down price. People pay high prices for crappy games all the time.
That's right...IF he wants to go ebay...then lets see what happens.
