I had to edit this since I left out Gamecube and N64. I'm wanting to know some good 4 player games on
Original XBOX
Dreamcast
Gamecube
N64

Obviously on Nintendo I can think of Mario Kart and Smash bros for both.

Off the top of my head without putting any effort into research, I'd say that on the Dreamcast, there was:

Ooga Booga
San Francisco Rush 2049
Power Stone 1 and 2
Bomberman Online?
Fur Fighters?

There's got to be more than this, but these are the only ones I remember right now.

Off the top of my head, on the DC...

ChuChu Rocket
Quake 3
Sonic Shuffle
Toy Racer (iirc)
The Worms games were also 4 player but more pass-the-pad style, I think World Party may have supported 4 controllers though.

Fusion Frenzy for the XBOX is 4 player, and I'm pretty sure that Kung Fu Chaos and Whacked! are as well, though the latter really wasn't a very good game, IMO.

For the Dreamcast I'll add

Unreal Tournament
Out Trigger
Loony Toons: Space Race
Test Drive: V-Rally
Test Drive: Le Mans
Vigilante 8: Second Offense
Armada (This game was bliss 4 player)

Power Stone 1 on DC is only 2 player, Power Stone 2 however does have 4 player. The only other 4 player DC game I can think of that hasn't been mentioned yet is Unreal Tournament (edit- oops, beat me to it!)

On Xbox there is of course Halo and Halo 2, as well as Crimson Skies, DOA 3 and Ultimate, Far Cry Instincts, Project Gotham Racing 1 and 2, Red Dead Revolver, Timesplitters 2, Unreal Championship, and X-Men Legends 1 and 2.

How about Virtua Tennis? Pretty sure you could have 4 player doubles matches.

There was an often overlooked game for N64 called 007 Goldeneye that had 4-player. ;)

Also diddy kong racing, starfox, f-zero, Mario Golf, and a game that actually was missed by a lot of people but is really good: Beetle Racing.

I don't see how Golden Eye could be overlooked that was awesome. Diddy Kong and Star fox we're good ones.

Another 4-player Dreamcast title of worth:

Spawn: In The Demon's Hand

In there is a pretty cool multiplayer battle mode. This thread has reminded me that there really are a ton of 4-player DC games.

Pac-Man Vs. and Mario Kart Double Dash were both fantastic on the cube, and probably accounted for a good chunk of our four-player time with that system. DD particularly if you have the equipment to LAN the game.

Four Swords was also awesome, and since the hardware necessary is fairly easy to get for a decent price there's really no reason to check it out. Plus if you've got what you need for Pac-Man, you're already partway there!

The Godzilla games on Cube and Xbox were excellent fun, as well.

Another system to support 4-6 controllers without a multitap is the 3DO. The only such games I know of are FIFA and Zhadnost. I always wanted to find others though. Anyone know anything? Does Twisted allow four controllers?
