Hello everyone. I don't know how long this has been happening, but my SNES has a yellow strip line coming down the screen ALL the time, and appears in the black screens when nothing is imaged. How should I go about fixing this? I don't think I have the tools to open a SNES. If it helps the line disappears SOMETIMES depending on the background, but it's partially hidden. This happens for all games. Thanks in advance.

Are you using an aftermarket power cord? (Like the ones that will hook up a NES/SNES/Genesis)

I have seen this (a scrolling green, red, and/or yellow line on screen) with these type power cords when going through a power strip if you plug it directly into the wall it stops.

Thanks for the tip understatement. I tried your suggestion, as it was plugged into a power strip, however the problem still persists. My Power Adapter is official as far as I know, being a SNS-002 Model. The link here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OsPDZA31ho) is to a video I made to showcase the problem, if this helps at all. Any further help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I haven't tried hooking the SNES up to a CRT but I will try it. I am using a composite Cable for Video Audio on an LCD TV.

Nice, I'm glad this thread wasn't locked or some stupid shit. I am having this exact same problem with NES and SNES. Is it because we are using LCD TVs? That is what I am leaning towards, but don't have anything else to test with right now. I have multiple NESs and SNESs and the same problem happens with every one.
