I don't know if this was posted already or not, but I came across this and thought that I would share it. I'd probably bid on this if I didn't have about $20,000.00 in medical bills to pay right now. Perhaps someone else here at DP would be interested though (assuming it's authentic). I don't have to tell you the historical significance of Night Trap, so it would make for a pretty sweet collectible.

The seller didn't put the name of the painting in the title, but there's an article on Joystiq (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/20/night-traps-original-cover-art-for-sale-on-ebay/) about it so it's not exactly a secret anymore.

I love the way that the box art has almost nothing to do with what actually takes place in the game, BTW.

I have a feeling that guy will make quite a bundle on that piece of artwork, it's already up to $390 with 12 bids and five days left.

Interesting how much more provocative the artwork looks in full form though.

Cool stuff, even though the guy can't spell and clearly sucks at selling on ebay. He's got a few more Sega auctions up, including one of the popular character "Soinc" (seriously, how does this happen?)

This picture is in a glass & gloss black frame the black seems to be lifting just a bit I think from being in storage. Anyway this picture was in the back ground of Im not sure if was a interveue or TV comersheal with Peter Moore in the theater at Sega of America SF. I remember this wasn t one of our (SOAs) pictures the film company brought it with them I know because I helped them bring all there equipment up and when they were done I helped take it all back down in the elevator one of the tecknitions a gril kept thanking me for the help with the equipment and they did have a lot of stuff anyway after we loaded there van she tells me if there was any thing I wanted they had tee shirts & baseball caps. & promo stuff from there company I told her just jokingly if you really want to thank me you would let me have that picture of sonic she said I would but we need it for more filming but when were done I will send it to you. I said OK but in my head I said sure you will. Then about 3 weeks later I get a package and sure enough it was the picture it wasn t framed I took it to fast frame on SOAs account. and hung in my cube till I got laid off about 2 or 3 years later anyway the reason I say one of kind because I never seen another one it has these 4 lighting bolts coming from all 4 conners & the closer they get to the center the more transparent they get. Im sure if someone dose a search on Peter Moore around 2000- 2001 the clip should be showing the picture in the back ground If so let me know maybe I will be able to thank that girl I never even got her name. and the OG Shipping lable is long gone SO UP FOR GRABS SOME MORE VIDEO GAME HISTORY. SSSsssssseeeeeeggggaaaA.

Can someone translate this to English for me, please?
