Hey everyone, Moogie over at ShiningForceCentral has begun to orchestrate a brand new campaign to show Camelot/Sega how much fans they love the camelot developed Shining titles and how they wish for them to unite and restore the glory to the series.

http://sos.shiningforcecentral.com/

This is more than a simple online petition (which never work). It's only in its beginnings, but so far there's a letter writing plan, a video petition youtube channel, Twitter, plans to take out magazine adverts and more, all leading up the 20th Anniversary next year. The site explains it a lot better than I can.

I know there's quite a few SF fans on this forum so I figured you might be interested. I hope we can all help make this as big as possible! :D

(Plus, that Jogurt GBA pouch can not be passed up, I wants it!)

Isn't Camelot a Nintendo partner? Are they really free to just team up with Sega to make games?

The bigger question is why would Camelot choose Sega over Nintendo at this point in time?

They do have a partnership with Nintendo but are still free to develop games for other companies. Nintendo might have first right of refusal however.

Because, hopefully, they want to return to the Shining franchise. They've expressed a desire to in previous interviews. People assume that it's only the bad blood between Sega/Camelot that have prevented them. But there have been signs that their icy relationship may be thawing.

Even if we weren't to get SFIV, a fully translated port of SFIII would be very much welcomed.

As a huge Shining Force fan, It is really awesome to see the good folks over at SFC starting to take some action.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't check the site often because, well, it isn't updated often.
