With the most excellent WAR being released on the Astrocade recently, I thought I would share with others this wonderful game. It was released in a very small quantity and will not be made again.

www.ballyalley.com Longtime Bally Astrocade users group. People have been waiting years for this release. Only 21(one given to the artist) copies were made. No other copies will be made.

There are four people on the original list who haven't responded yet, so it might be a good time to see if there are spots on the waiting list, though there are at least a couple people already in line...

That's a shame, because I would snap one up in a second. I never get tired of playing Warlords-type games, and love the homebrews for the 5200/8-bit and 2600.
Why only 20? Are they labor-intensive, or just to make it rarer and more special (à la Ms. Space Fury or Ebivision Pac-Man)?

I'd like to get on the waiting list, but I can't even seem to get into the group.
I remember when this was first announced and had hoped to get one once released. I'm a little surprised by the low number, too.

Parts are hard to come by and it is labor intensive. It definitely was not to make it more rare or special. If anyone feels bad about not getting one...think about the folks who were part of the bally alley users group for years who wont be getting one either.
