Magnavox Odyssey 2 system & 11 complete games

Picked up a Magnavox Odyssey 2 with the connctions and 11 complete games this morning. Tested and works perfectly. The games are: Sid the Spellbinder, K.C. Munchkin, Speedway-Spin-out-Cryptologic, Las Vegas Blackjack, Cosmic Conflict, Baseball, Matchmaker-logix-buzzword, typer & tell, nimble numbers ned, computer golf, armored encounter-sub chase. All complete. Anyone have a value estimate?

Short answer: nothing.

Long answer: there aren't any super rare games in that lot. There's practically no demand for O2 stuff and it's very common, even boxed. You could probably get $1-3 bucks for each game, maybe a little more for Sid and Ned. With shipping prices pretty high, you'd have a tough time getting more than $15-20 for the console since it will be expensive to ship.

The value of keeping it is quite high. It's a fun system with a lot of good games that can't be played anywhere else.

Antics is correct on resell value, the O2 just doesn't sell for much. As far the games you got, some (Ned, Sid, TnT) require a "Voice" module that plugs into the top of the unit. There are several fun games for the O2 that you can get cheap, so I'd keep it and add to the collection.
