Suikoden 2 war music glitch

Does anyone know if there is a easy fix for this? The best part of the 1st game were the war scenes and the music but I cant stand the dead silence glitch and wondering if there is any kind of small fix.

It's a glitch? I always just assumed that some battles had no audio, as it was always the same battles, The war music is awesome though. On the other hand, the battles themselves... yeah.
