I saw an ad on kijiji for a boxed NES Control Desk and A Boxed Virtual Boy, Mario Tennis and a complete copy of Teleroboxer. I asked what the guy wanted for them. he said 75 for the boxed nes and 200 for the VB or 250 for both.
is that a good deal???

$200 for a boxed VB is an awful lot. If you look on ebay, 50-100 is a more realistic range. I traded mine recently for about $60 in games.

I sold my Virtual Boy collection locally for $250 and it came with a complete system(with Mario Tennis), complete AC adapter, and 13 other complete games with a few of them still sealed.
We seem to be somewhat close by, locally there's a few better deals out there for Virtual Boy stuff.

15 bucks for a vb is fucking insane lol.
what about that boxed nes? i seen a boxed nes at a cash converters for 80 once so im thinking 75 is ok deal.

It depends on which set it is, but for a control deck set I would say no more than $50 max. I personally wouldn't pay more than $30 for one if I was looking for one.

Is this the guy with the Virtual Boy? He's asking $150.00 and the ad was posted in September, I guess you replied to a more recent ad and he tried to rip you off. It's still $50 too much, wait awhile and it will probably be lowered. If that $15 Virtual Boy I posted is still for sale, the boxed one this guy is selling will sit there for awhile. I think it will get lowered eventually.

I'm checking out his other ads and his prices are pretty high, his boxed Genesis games are mostly $15 each or more. Same with his NES and N64 games that he has listed. Even with an Atari lot the games are averaging over $7 each, he wants $650 for the lot and doesn't list the games.
For trying to rip you off I would avoid dealing with that guy unless you could get both the NES and Virtual Boy together for $100 total.

Probably the same guy. The pic i saw had slighty messed up corners. I'll avoid him. Man I hate ppl like that. Just cuz you have something old doesn't mean its worth a million dollars.
