Going prices for Bonk 3 CD

I have a question about "Bonk 3 CD". I know the DP guide has it listed at $50, but the recent trends seem to be MUCH higher. They've gone recently on ebay for $650 and $350, along with 2 auctions that closed because of bids sellers couldn't refuse (including the one digitpress put up, though he didn't say what it went for). Due to this trend, I've been keeping an eye out for copies as soon as they appear on ebay to catch one at a lower price. Today I won it for $177. I am wondering if this is a fair price, if you guys think the trends will continue, and what you think of the game.

it is that high? wow :o :o . Maybe becuase it is in high demand. Like toeJam and Earl, and Street Fighter Collection..those run for well over what there worth.

It's kinda funny; with the exception of those super rare titles that no one seems to have (Bonk 3 HuCard and CD, Syd Mead's Terraforming, Magical Chase), TurboGrafx games seem to have been trending downward in terms of price. Personally I think the prices are WAY overinflated.

That being said, Bonk 3 is a cool game; the whole growing/shrinking bit makes the game more entertaining. I still think Bonk's Revenge is the best game of the series though.

I have a minty copy of Bonk 3 CD I picked up last year at Cinci for $20! If someone wants to give me $150 for it it's theirs! :)

I think prices are crazy right now, i have to say i watch all the big games being listed, and theres alot of people bidding stupid amounts.

Bonk 3 cd in my mind should be around 80 - 100 , stretch to 120 cos it super mint, i saw that 177 one and to be honest the reason you got it cheap is becuase your under bidder has given up on buying the game ( just wants a CDR and Manaul the last time i talked to him, if he can get one though at the right price he'll take it ), plus another under bidder edv4real didnt bid ( he has like 4 copies of the games ).

I Think the only reason its gone high recently is because those two bidders and one other have been going against each other. take them out of the equation and the price drops significantly.

I'll think about it. I played it through and I wasn't impressed with it (Bonk's Revenge was much better). However I know if I sell it I'll be pissed off when I want to complete my Turbo Duo collection. It always happens...

You all are forgetting the hardest US Duo game to get, Dynastic Hero :)

And Terraforming isn't TOO spendy....mostly cause you can get a Jap one so most of the shmup fans just buy the cheaper Jap version.

Max: Yes dynastic hero, pretty rare, i have a sealed new one for my collection which i was lucky enough to pick up for $50, however the last ebayone i saw went for 300!

Terraforming i saw new and sealed on ebay, auction ended with no bids, start price was 100.. i figured new or not it was too expensive,
