I did not see another thread about this, so if I missed it, please combine mine with that one.

I figured I would share my opinion on the game so that others can see what the game is like. This is not a full on review or anything, just me talking about the game since I own it now.

The best way to describe this is that it is what DJ Hero 1 was supposed to be. In DJ Hero 1, there were pieces that just felt left out. Like the red freestyle button when it came up in djh1, you could do a freestyle, but it didn't really do anything outside of that. Now, based on how in rhythm you are with the current track, you get points for it. They also added freestyle scratching and freestyle crossfading. Both are very cool to do and since you get points for doing them, it feels in place with the game.

The game is much more polished, and actually has different play modes (dj battle is one off of the top of my head).

The only HUGE thing that annoys the crap out of me is the online play. They still have not fixed the issue that was huge in djh1. Now, in djh2, you can rank up and stuff (even getting ach points for ranking up). The huge issue is that if a person quits the match, you lose your win streak, and it does not count it as a win or loss for either person. It is the most retarded thing on the planet, since I have played many other games where if you quit online, you lose.

This is seriously 1 of about 3 or 4 games I play online, so something like that when I am going for ach points and people quit, it gets old and annoying very fast. I would say that it really the only huge downfall of it.

Another big issue is DLC. They had DLC almost on day 1 of the release of the game (possibly day 1) of more tracks. If you are releasing DLC that soon, why not pack those into the game instead of releasing it as DLC.

Those are really the only issues I had with it. The game is super fun and it is what you would imaging for a djh game. If you are decisiveness about the series, I highly suggest you get djh1 with the turntable (since you can shop around and get it for $20-$30 brand new) and then pick up djh2.

This game is just a good game. Sure, it has it faults with online shit, but if you are not planning on playing it online, I say go for it (well, I would say wait it out for the inevitable price drop since they released 3 versions of it: stand-alone disc, 1 turntable bundle, 2 turntable/1 mic bundle).

Now if they would make a mode so that I could have 2 turntables hooked up to 1 mixer and have them both work, I would not need another rhythm game (djh3 perhaps). It is possible to hook 2 turntables to 1 mixer, but it acts very wonky
