I have a few Japanese gameboys that came in tins (about the size of a band aid tin) rather than boxes. Here is an example of one:

The ones I have are:
Turbo Wars
Bomberman Collection
Bomberman 3
Super B. Daman
Bomberman
I don't have them, but Momotarou Collections 1 & 2 were also issued this way.
Anyone know of any others that were packaged like this?

I've got one for Bomberman Pocket. It was only Hudson games that came out in tins, wasn't it?

Wow, that's great; I've never seen those before. I love it when companies use clever packaging.

I picked up another one called "the Same Game" off of ebay.
And I found the two Momotarou ones online from Japan.
(These are also all by Hudson.)

There's a GB Genjin (Bonk) one too.

Yup, I've got that one myself.
It's actually a collection of 3 Bonk games! 2 side-scrollers and one board-game.

I am under the impression that those carts are compatible with a the SFC game of the same name.
I've seen the SFC cart, and it does indeed have a port on top that looks to fit a GB game.
Can you confirm this and elaborate on the functionality and gameplay?

I haven't received it yet (it is coming from Japan) . Since I don't read Japanese I likely won't be able to tell if it is supposed to be able to work with the SFC cart (maybe there will be a pic in the manual). (Although I may try to pick up the SFC cart just to have such an oddity in my collection.)
Scissors -thanks for the tip on the Genjin - I found one of those and have ordered it also.
Edit - it looks like the SFC version was actually part of the Satellaview system - and from what I can gather the slot at the top was for a memory card of some sort.
