32x problems?

I seem to be having more problems with my 32x.
I -did- have it working for a while, but it seems to be having more issues.
When I try to play a Genesis game through the 32x, I get nothing. Maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll get some random pixels as if it's -trying- to work.
When I take the 32x off and play the Genesis games without it, they run fine.
The 32x games, obviously, don't work at all.

Is this probably a problem with the 32x itself, or with the cable that connects it to the Genesis?

i had a similar issue with mine couple years ago and ended up being faulty cable. what model genesis do you have? i think model 3 isnt compatible with 32x but i could be very wrong about that......try to get a new cable

I've got a Model 2 Genesis. As I said, it -was- working at one point after much fiddling around..
Yeah, I'll try looking around ebay and whatnot for a cable.

Try the cable and if that's not it then your 32X is probably busted in some way. The 32X is a weird sometimes, hell when trying to playing Genesis carts mine only plays them in black & white.
