Accolade Cards Sega Genesis game Inserts

Hi everyone,

I recently came across a huge collection of mint genesis games with most being 100% complete with inserts.

One of the inserts was a sealed package of accolade cards. What I found weird was that I found the cards in a copy of Home Alone 1 for genesis. To my knowledge, Home Alone was not made by Accolade so I am thinking the insert belonged to a different game but I am not sure. I know these cards were probably packaged in various accolade games but can anyone confirm that the cards were definitely not packaged with Home Alone?

Also, as a side note, there was a fruit roll up in a copy of Asterix that was included in the lot. I previously thought that the fruit roll-ups were only packaged with Gunstar Heroes, but based on some research the fruit roll up was also packaged with Greatest heavyweights and Asterix. Was the fruit roll-up packaged with any other titles?

Any idea what the shelf life is on that Fruit Roll Up? :-/

Those are all cardboard box games on the cards listed in the auction, so I assume that Accolade did NOT make Home Alone. I would guess that the cards came with that era of Accolade titles, and maybe there were more, "Collect all 952."

Also, I have no idea what the shelf life is on the Fruit Roll Up haha, I am guessing it is pretty long though because they are wrapped in some crazy foil material.
