Donkey kong returns, great game !

Is anyone playing donkey Kong country returns? I'm having a great time with this game. I'm really loving the level designs although some of them are a bit frustrating but that's to be expected with a dkc game. Interacting with the foreground and background is a nice touch . The mine carts and rocket barrels are fun as hell to. The graphics look fantastic and do a good job immersing you in the different enviorments. I I would give it a 10/10. This is one of the best 2D platformers I've ever played.

Yeah i've been playing. I'm pretty far actually and the further you get it gets alot harder. I was actually watching a commercial where they are playing as Diddy Kong, Not sure how they we're.

I really enjoyed this game (and still am). I best the main story the Tuesday after it came out. It was pretty tough for the most part but a welcome challenge after playing Kirby for a while. I kind of thought there were too many mine cart levels and after playing so many, I wasn't really excited for the next one. The barrel riding levels were amazing, I couldn't get enough. And the silhouette levels were stunning. The overall platforming of the game was fantastic, classic Donkey Kong Country. I played the entire game with the Wii remote and nunchuck control scheme, which I felt was very good and easy to control. Retro did a great job bringing the series back, my hats off to them. Now we just need a new 2D Metroid!

I agree its a nice game and all but it lacks in atmosphere a bit imo. I'd give this an 8/10 and I don't think the game tops either one of the originals.

I hate the wii remote, wish you could use the gamecube or classic wii controller, otherwise it is great!

Yes please! Maybe the low appreciation for the piece of shit thats called "Other M" and the success of DKC's revival on the other hand will actually wake Nintendo up...

Anyway I think DKCR is a bit overrated by many people - there's such a lack of good platformers nowadays and people have been looking forward to this for so long.
