How rare is the SNES Sonic 4 Pirate Cart:

and how about this 5-in-1 pirate that apparently has Sonic and Knuckles on it? is this true, is it a terrible port or what?

I would like to obtain these, as long as they are not in the hundreds of dollars range...in that case maybe a repro would be more reasonable (if possible)

Pirates aren't something quantified as rare. They all have a base range for the most part ($30 tops) and are not very desired. Just how it goes.

oh okay, Ive never seen either for sale so I was under the impression they are something of a rarity....

Actually there are certain pirates worth hundreds of dollars, others worth next to nothing. As with collecting anything, it all comes down to desirability and rarity. I can't tell you what those two go for, but I can say that I usually see a lot of pirates on Mercado Livre. You'd need to know someone in South America or go thru a middle man in order to buy stuff from there tho.
