Hi Guys
I have purchased some games for the eldest lad for Christmas and while he was at school i wanted to test them but in doing so i have just realised that achievement slots have been created and he is sure to see what games i have bought him by looking at the game names, the files without any achievements can be deleted by pressing `X` but it says he needs to be connected to X-box live (which he does not have at this time) is there any other way?
If not i will have to tell him as i cannot delete his profile he has too many other achievements on :(

XD Another good reason you should be able to delete achievement/trophy lists for games you don't want/wish to get rid of.

I could not agree more, from what othe rpeople have told me it seems i should have created my own profile tested his xmas games then deleted the profile but that does seem a little awkward just to test some 2nd hand games.
I just did not realise as i am 90% retro gamer i am only slightly familiar with the x-box workings

So why exactly did you decide to test all the games on his XBOX and on his profile no less? Anyway, other than signing onto Xbox Live as a Silver user, there's really nothing else you can do.

How old is he?

Maybe if he's younger, you could download demos for the games and make him think thats why it happened?

At one point, I deleted a game from my list of played games that I did not receive any achievements for. Here is a link that discusses how:

Silver is free. Hook up a modem to your 360 then log online.
