FS: Mega Man CIB for Game Gear - $150 shipped (US)

Bought this last year, but I'm consolidating my collection and I'm letting go of my copy. It's in fair condition. Cart and manual look nice, box is missing an inner tab and has a small tear to it. Still, these are closing near $200 nowadays, so $150 is a great deal on it.

no offense, but where do you find your values? 250.00 for a satellaview? come on man, these go for like 50-70 bucks in the box (unless its the model 2 slim console version, then its like 150.00)!!! I mean, you can charge whatever you want, but I doubt youre going to get anywhere near what you are asking. Just a suggestion you might want to look at certain Auction sites (ePay and Yahoo Japan) then come up with your asking prices....

Umm, thanks for thread crapping. I don't know where you get your values from, but these go for more than $250 on ebay. Also, that was in my other thread, this is for my Mega Man CIB. Way to read?

Yeah, some MSX stuff is crazy expensive, even on YHJ auctions. I keep wanting to pick up copies of Metal Gear and Metal Gear: Solid Snake, but at $150-200 a pop, I think I'll live without them for a while!

Heh. I do see an as-is basic MSX2 without power cable on YHJ for 1000yen. Even broken and after import fees I could make a profit selling it here.

Yep, that one sold for $150. So I'd say my price is fairly accurate. The one before that (which portnoyd's link posts in the auction) sold for $227.50.

There was another one that sold for $219.50, the seller and buyer are both in America. $150 is a good price, assuming your copy is working.

I'm a bit curious why the copy portnoyd linked to had a different tray, the one mentioned in the auction for $227.50 also had a different tray, but that copy was also by the same seller. The seller is in Turkey and the buyers were not in America.

I've talked to some different Game Gear collectors, and they speculate that the Turkish ones might be bootlegs. I've never seen one in person, so I don't know for sure. The one I'm selling came from a US seller, though, so no worries with my copy!

I remember paying $14.99 for a NIB copy of Mega Man for Game Gear and later trading it for a CIB copy of Mortal Kombat II for Genesis because I already owned Mega Man 4 and 5 for NES. Who got the better end of that deal? :(
