Amazon has tons of em.

On Tuesday, I went to Best Buy looking for a Kinect, and they were sold out. The salesguy went onto his computer and looked for any at other locations, and they were all sold out as well. Then I went to Target and Wal-Mart, and they were both sold out. Costco as well.

So, on Tuesday night, I'm on Amazon.com, and I'm amazed to find them in stock, so I buy one immediately. I was thinking that I had just gotten lucky, and clicked on Amazon at the right time. But it seems that since that time (and probably quite a while before that), Kinects have been in at Amazon. It will show them having like 467 Kinect's in stock, which seems like it would run out quickly, but it never does.

Today, I was in a Gamestop, and the manager was talking about how Gamestop as a company just got a HUGE shipment of Kinects in. His store had 12 in stock at that time.

It sounds like the drought is over. These should start popping up at Costo's, Best Buy's, Target's, etc, etc. All the Craiglist and Ebay speculators are going to have to return the 7 or 8 Kinect's they have stacked up in their closets, lol.

It's never really been scarce, here...

Everyime I walk into Best Buy, they usually have at least 20-30 in stock.

Either way, I'm still not buying one until two things happen:

1. Price drop ($79 is the most I'd pay for one)
2. Better games.

They had one at Goodwill for 200 fucking bucks. Aren't they 150 brand new?

For some place who gets everything free, Goodwill is one of the most overpriced stores I've ever been in.

Goodwill is non-profit. The extra money goes towards their community programs. DVD box sets ordered from PBS of course aren't work $400, but it's a fundraiser.

Do Gamestop's have Kinect set up in them?

Goodwill is in fact a non-profit, but the thrift stores are run as a business and unlike PBS, if you buy something at Goodwill, you don't get a tax deduction.

Goodwill can suck my nuts.

And Kinects were ever scarce? Really? Who are these people buying them and why.

I know at Sears people were asking for them almost non-stop but none were in stock. Not even the console combos.

I hope these things arrive soon, days before Xmas...at $150 a pop, I get almost $14 selling one! :D
