About 6 months ago I picked up a Tritton headset. I hooked it up to my PS3, works great! Only thing is, I can no longer hear anyone chat through my TV speakers. I know there were some directions included that had me change some PS3 sound settings.

Before I hooked up the headset, I could hear both game music and team chat through the TV speakers, now all I can hear through the TV speakers is game music, ALL chat comes through the headset whether its powered on or not. If I'm not wearing the headset, I cant hear anyone talking.

Is this just some setting that I need to change to enable both voice chat and game sounds/music to come through both the headset AND TV speakers at the same time?

Thanks!

Well this may not help you directly, but it's still worth mentioning...

Make sure you set the audio in the BC2 menu to "War Sounds". It won't help the chat issue, but it's designed for online matches with headphones. Best game audio I've ever experienced.

i do this with my wired mic when my bluetooth dies, go into accessory settings and i believe it'll be under device settings or audio something, not sure, anyway, you'll know you're at the right place if u see an option to select which headset you want to use and input and output settings

under input, put whatever headset/mic that you are using, and under output change it to tv (it might not actually say tv, it might say something like system default or main something, not sure)

only problem with this now is, now u wont be able to hear anything at all from your headset lol, but i guess its a start in the right direction, if you're just trying to isolate game chat and game music hrough your tv and i guess everything else through your headset...ummm...good luck i guess???
