No one has ever proven that a #17 inlay exists - and I've had multiple sources, including NOA reps, say that it was shipped in a plastic sleeve with the bongo controllers.
Well that's "reassuring" to know... in the sense that I might only need the inlay to #25 after all. I got lucky on #25 anyhow; it was listed as a #29 in the auction header because that's the box it was in, but after asking the seller when I spotted it didn't say #29 on the pictured disc, he confirmed it was a #25. Yoink immediately on a $10 BIN.

I'm really surprised that only a handful of people know about this version. Come to think of it, the only other instance of any game having even remotely different soundtrack in different versions would be Super Mario Land; drums and different stereo effects in 1.0 and 1.1 revisions... interesting.

I put a bid in for $90, and lost by a few bucks. (I'm offering $100 for a complete #25 if anyone out there has it (:P)

Just an fyi - The discs for the October Kiosk and Test discs are actually the same, just the inserts are different. The kiosk one is a normal production sleeve, where the test one is a crappy photocopy (even the text on the spine goes the wrong way). The kiosk sleeve is much harder to come by, but it might help you in your quest to put it together piecewise (btw, I have an extra October 2001 kiosk sleeve available ;) )
