I've pre-ordered the limited one myself, anyone else looking forward to this? What did you think of Last Hope? I just ordered the pink bullet variant that I did not know existed until recently (I have the original version,)

Uh huh. I went with the standard. I have LE's of other DC shooters and well, they resell higher, but it's just not worth it to me. Thought about the double pack bundle direct from NG*DEV, but $40 at playasia for the standard vers... Hard to beat that. Bought Pink Bullets the week in came out, still haven't played it though. I'm still working on Last Resort (wanted to play that all the way through before taking on Last Hope PB).

Fast Striker just looks kick-ass to me. Checked my pre-order and they come out the 27th and start shipping the 28th! So glad to get DC releases for these, the MVS kit prices are too much for my sanity.

but $59 for the LE direct, vs 69.99 from playasia sealed the deal for me, it was worth an extra $19 bucks (also, pretty much all the recent dc shooters/releases, I've gotten the 'LE' or whatever the equivalent was, so I didn't want to break pattern.) I know what you mean about the aes cart prices. I haven't bought any for my neo in ages because I've bought cars for less than the carts and I just have a hard time with that :)

I've pre-ordered Fast Strikers. I think the regular edition. It looks so much better than Last Hope, which I didn't like the look of so didn't buy. I'm going to need to sort out my Dreamcast stick before this arrives so I can play it!

Pink Bullets is awesome. I really liked Last Hope, but PB improves on it substantially.

Fast Striker looks really good, but I don't have the cash to pick it up at the moment. Hopefully soon I can get it, because it looks fantastic.

Good grief. I had no idea FAST STRIKER even existed until today. I have got to get out more.

I'm a bit burned out on DC shmups. I might pick up Sturmwind, though.

My collecting goals have changed throughout the years. I used to want a complete USA Saturn collection as well as a complete N64 collection with the imports that didn't get a domestic release. Quit all that awhile back. I've stopped on the NGPC games as well.

I had a complete USA 32x collection (plus the 2 UK games and the 1 Japanese game) but I've sold most of it off.

My only collecting goals are as follows...

Complete Saturn SHUMUP collection
Complete Dreamcast SHUMUP collection

I've been on a non-seeking-of-completeness plan since I got into collecting. You have to prioritize and set limits, otherwise you wind up overwhelmed in quantity of stuff that constantly underwhelms you in terms of quality and a payoff. I've danced on the dividing line a few times already, despite all that.

New Dreamcast releases are going to be a top priority for me as long as they keep on coming out. Gotta get some new shmups somehow, and I can't think of a better way.

Got my copy of Fast Striker a little bit ago. I been playing that NES homebrew shooter, brain fart, name escaping me right now... Anyway, it's next on the agenda.

Go to store and Gunlord will be available on Dreamcast also starting early 2012. They're already working on a fourth game, similar to Ikari (SNK classic).

Yes! Turrican clone FTW! DC can sure use some of that. :)

Just saw their FB page... Barely any votes for Vanguard... O_O

I'll check it out.
I'm more interested in Sturmwind, though.

Almost any release for a "dead" console I am willing to support in some way weather its a hack, unreleased, or totally new release for the system. I really wish their was a site dedicated to following these small start-ups making full retail released. (at at least I knew one that already does) I like what I see on their website but the site itself really confuses me. It seems like it would make a lot of sense for those who have been following these projects but I am at a loss here. If I may I would like to get some confirmation at what I think I know is actually how it is. lol

NG:DEV makes both new NEG GEO and Dreamcast games.

They Made:
Fast Striker (SHMUP)
Last Hope (SHMUP)
Pink Bullets (SHMUP)

They are Making:
Gunlord (Contra Stype Shoot em' Up)

Is Pink Bullets more or less an expansion of Last Hope, also is their any place to get more information on what I see in their upcoming products page? (blog site seems to be down or unavailable)

Not sure if you guys have seen this, but here's a German interview (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUMmcNacUkw&t=11m57s) with RedSpotGames about Sturmwind, which features some new gameplay footage. It's looking pretty good, I think!

I like how he dodged nearly all the power-ups. :D
