Hi all

I bought a complete copy of bareknuckle from him and just got it today. He listed it with the cart in "C" condition so I looked at the pic and decided to buy it. Lo and behold, there is a large crack on the front of the cart. He purposely positioned the picture so it wouldn't show and neither would the torn top of the label. He should have listed this in the description.

Has anyone else had an experience like this with him? I've made purchases from him the past and was always happy but this time, I'm pissed.

I haven't bought anything from hit-japan in years but I never had a problem. Did you contact the seller about the issue? I'm sure you can work something out with them. I remember that seller having pretty great customer service when I used to buy on ebay.

I bought one game not long ago. Son Son II played fine on my Turbo Duo with converter.

I contacted him and he replied saying that he should have used an exact picture of the item so he will refund me $2 or I can send it back for a refund. The thing is, I paid him $22 plus $7 shipping for it. It's not worth me paying the shipping back and being refunded $22. I will end up having pretty much paid for the game and getting nothing. What would you guys do?

Hm. Could play it in the meantime, while waiting for a deal on a better shape cart to replace with.

I use to buy stuff from him years ago and never had a problem. As for your issue, he should have used a picture of the actual cart and listed the damage in the description. Atleast he's offering to refund your money but the shipping does negate that somewhat.

I say only return it if you can ship it for super cheap, otherwise it's not worth shipping it back. Definitely shitty that the damage wasn't in the description or shown in the pics.

I guess I'll check how much it costs to ship back. If it's to much, I'll just keep it and search for another one in better shape.

I deal with Hit-Japan all the time. They definatly don't have the most pristine looking imports, but great prices and some rarer stuff. I have never had Best Offer refused, and the combine shipping is cheaper than most japan stores I buy from.

Sorry you had a bad experience, maybe counter offer a little more refunded. I am sure you both can work something out.

I HATE hit-japan, hes a cheap skate who mainly sells garbage he picks up from game stores in Japan that dont want that junky shit lying around their shop anymore. If you are looking for something decent, stay away from hit-japan!!!!! even the stuff he lists as nice condition is usually in shit shape......and thats my experience.

report his ass to the ebay authority (but that will probably get you nowhere as well)

Though my preferred vendor is Japan-Games.com (eBay name is the same), I have dealt with Hit-Japan in the past and have not experienced any issues regarding customer service or item description. I am sure they will make it right for you.

I have never had any problems with Hit-Japan. I bought from them lots of times. To me they have great prices as well as packing.

IF your not happy with your game then why dont you just resell it.

I ended up just buying a replacement cart on ebay. I wanted all the bareknuckles complete. They didn't have to be in perfect shape but a huge crack accross the case is not exactly a little damage as he would have you believe with his pics and A,B,C,D ratings.
