The DP Random Game and Vector Generator (tm) has selected the arcade port-to-Vectrex "Solar Quest".
Solar Quest was a fairly generic space game in its day, blending in with many of the Asteroids clones of the era. But it IS a fun little game, and plays quite well on the Vectrex. What do you think? Write your mini-review here.
DP Guide sez:
Solar Quest (Vectrex, by GCE) $15/R4
Based on the 1981 Cinematronics coin-op. Original game designed by Scott Boden. Protect "your sun" from invading alien ships which change each wave. Consider this: the Vectrex is a vector-graphics system which means its graphics consist of nothing but straight lines - no curves. Where in the world did them come up with the ideas to make all the different waves of ships look different? #3104.
