Yeah, I do. How much are you offering? While it's just taking up space I've kinda had it for a long time. LOL
Truth be told I bought it at the local flea market back in like 2000 since a 486 I was setting up to mess around with old games needed its Win 3.1 install refreshed and I couldn't find an image of disk 6 online. LOL
EDIT: I actually couldn't give you an equal or better price than this so I'd just go for it (http://cgi.ebay.com/Microsoft-WIndows-Operatig-System-Version-3-1-/130470963789?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e60acea4d).

Yeah, 3.1x as much. (No, I'm not exaggerating, like I said the eBay price is much better)

Woah. Alright just to clear things up I'm not looking to spend more then $20 here. I've seen the going price for a few CIB copys on ebay as well as gamertz and it typically goes for $15 (Not "new", but with the box and manual) so that's about what I'm willing to pay.

$20.00 x 3.1 = $62.00. LOL I don't know, around $50.00 or so? I'd have to pull it out and give it another look over but I do know that it was complete and I had to open the plastic bag the diskettes came in when I needed to do that reinstall years ago. Was also the full release version, not the upgrade.
I just bought some really expensive vintage sneakers and could use some money, so shoot me a PM either way if you're interested. Then I can quit spamming HappehLemons' thread. :)

Wait a sec. Do you need a boxed one?
I have a bunch of Windows 3.1 and DOS floppies I picked up at the flea market about six months ago. They worked fine for me, so...

I have all of them in mint condition except the first (2-8), and I can't find the box for IV (driving me nuts!!)
What would you feel is a fair price for II & III in mint condition?

Around $15 shipped for each.. but it's dependent on the version. Lower if they're the cheap reprints. Pictures are important :)

Crap, turns out I can't sell the King's Quest games at the moment. I have a copy of KQ5 I can sell (floppy disk version), and KQ8, both in mint/complete condition if you're interested. Sorry about II & III.

No thanks. At this point I'm only looking for KQ1 and 2 now.

I don't think I have the version you're looking for (I only have extras of the cheap reprint versions) but I just wanted to chime in and say it might be worth mentioning which particular version of KQ1 you want, or find a good reference picture to steal and slap up here. There's more than half a dozen different versions of it for a bunch of different operating systems AND disk sizes (there was a 5.25" only version, and several later ones that came with both, and a final one that just came with 3.5"). I assume you're not looking for the original grey-box IBM version w/ keyboard overlay? You want the tan-box version for DOS?

Can't help you, but just wanted to say you have good tastes. KQ was one of the first video games I ever played. I can beat the game in my sleep from playing it so much.
Cross moat. Open Door. Talk King. Move north, take carrot. Move north, take bowl and ring from elf. Etc. A point and click classic!

If you're interested in a guide to go with the games, I've got the King's Quest Companion. Basically a big strategy guide that covers KQ I - V.

Thanks jone. I've only beat the 6th one and I think it's time I beat the others as well :)
I'm only looking for the King's Quest II at this point, and I'm looking for the original print run of the DOS version on the 3.5 floppys.

I finally played KQ1 which I downloaded from GOG.com. had no idea WTF I was doing. took me forever just to figure out how to cross the moat. couldnt figure out how to open the door to the castle. had to Youtube this.
I have the pdf manual but it doesnt seem to help with commands. To me a game isnt enjoyable if I have no idea what I am supposed to do. collision detection in the game is great at least.
