I picked up a copy of Crime Busters with the box and manual today. I really don't know too much about it other than there were roughly 10,000 copies made (according to some random website I found anyway). Anyone have any input?

Oh, I never knew such a game existed.

Does it have a black cart casing? That's how the picture I saw looks like. Can you take a picture of the box and manual? I would love to see them.

Yes, it has black casing.

Sure. I'll post pics tonight when I get home.

10,000 is total hearsay. The production run is totally unknown. It's an uncommon game from a wacky country. Unique in that I think this was the only region where it was released. Maybe Spain/Portugal too. Anyone who follows GCE/Gluk/Gradiente stuff would know better.

Hey, that's pretty damn cool. Sadly though, most any kind of pirate/multi cart never seems to command much of a price. I don't know much about this particular cart so I could be wrong. Definitely a cool find, I'd love to have picked it up. I love all kinds of repros/pirates.

The game is niether a repro a pirate or a hack, its 100% an original unlicenced game, fairly short and buggy, but not the worst zapper game (hey i'm looking at you gotcha!)

first time i've seen a box for it, nice find.

Well seems like I know next to nothing about it! Makes the find all the cooler.

no worries at all, its a very obscure title and tough to find in the us (I had a friend in brazil send me that and a few other gradient titles) not alot of info about it is out there (amusing note, the rom thats floating around on the internets was from my personal copy)

I read on another forum (Lost Levels?) from someone from Brazil who said it was so common people had trouble giving the game away.

it wasn't a mario/duck hunt, but it was popular enough that most people had it. of the 3 friends I have there all of them remeber it and 2 of them still had thier copies so, yeah its not really that rare, just scarce in THIS country.

I sold my cart only for $30 about a year ago. Maybe get $50ish for a complete one.

The box says it's for the Phantom system (Famiclone). Wasn't the Phantom the one designed to look like an Atari 7800? It would have been cool if it could play both NES and 7800 games with double cart slots.

It took me forever to find one for a good price. I finally got one for about $25 shipped. I am sure I could have found one for alittle bit less, but I was soooo tired of waiting.
