Harvest Moon (SNES) - Does a UK PAL version exist?

Until now, I was always led to believe that Harvest Moon for the SNES only saw a PAL release in France, Germany, and Australia.

The Wikipedia page doesn't mention anything about a UK release: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harvest_Moon_(video_game)

However, new evidence has emerged that it may have been released in the UK as well, albeit in extremely limited numbers

This is my mint copy with a scratch at the front of the box. The cartridge has never been played at my snes is new.

Has anyone else here seen or heard anything about a UK release for this game? Does anyone else here own a boxed complete PAL copy of Harvest Moon for the SNES?

My own, admittedly limited, research into this a few years ago only found evidence of a German release. However I don't see why it wouldn't have got an English release if German/French/Austrialian got one.

No idea about the rom, though I doubt it. If you're just playing the game on an emulator though, you can just use the NA-NTSC no? It's in English. If you want to use it on a flash cart and PAL TV, you might be S.O.L. Translations from NTSC have been done to Spanish and Polish, but don't see any German to anything, in my "archives." Since the game was released in NA, not much cause for an English translation.

I have a question.

I know that this thread is several months old but I will give it a try.
This week i bought a cart of the game and the code says SNSP-AYWP-EUR .
I have checked the screentext and they are English.
I also checked the picture you linked and I noticed that manual and cart have a different code ,the cart has my code on it while the manual has the NUKV code on it .
I have been unable to check this with pictures of other complete copies becuase I can´t find one on the net.
Is it possible that I have bought the cart of the rare uk Version of the game ?
Is it possible that cart and manual have a different code in the UK version ?

I hope a snes specialist can help me.

I'm sorry for bumping this thread but I just wanted to add in what I know.

Is the same version that I've got. It's released in Sweden with the small extra booklet
with instructions in Swedish.



It also appears to have the designation code: SNSP-AYWP-NUKV

My cart has the designation seen in the above picture SNSP-AYWP-EUR. Whether another
version designated NUKV exists, I don't know. However the box and manual is NUKV.

Maybe this can clarify some things. Many people seem to believe that this game only saw
release in Germany and France. I actually contacted an eBay seller listing a repro of
the PAL-version stating in the description that it was never released in Europe in English,
but he didn't really care much about my remark.
