So,
never got around to pre ordering Pier Solar and now that it's out I want one. Looks like it's already getting reprinted but in a clamshell case instead of the box. I've seen a few people selling theirs on the forums but no mention of price. So what's a fair offer on a first print one, not including the absurd $500 BIN one on ebay?

Not sure how you expect an answer when the game hasnt even arrived at most people house yet. It will take a while to for the price to level out. I would be surprise if you couldnt get a first print for under $200, maybe $100. This early in the game, it's "how much are you willing to pay"? If I had to guess, $100-150 for the next few months and then it may come down alittle, but since you cant get the CD any longer, it may only go up in value....

What I want to see is if the different versions are worth more than others. Like the US version vs. Jap./Eur.

Saw a few going up for sale on different forums but were sold privately without a price being listed. Just wanted to see if someone had a better idea than me. I'll just pick up the reprint coming out next month. Box & cd aren't worth that to me.

Hmm... for the picture in that auction there is no seal on the top of the package. If it is like mine, then there should be a red and gold piece of tape going from the back, through the hangtab hole, and then down.

I do not know a whole lot about the posterity edition since it was sold out before I ordered my classic edition. Isn't one of the big things about is supposed to be that it is personalized or something? If so, then buying someone else's copy would be like buying an autographed picture personalized to someone else. Not something that I would want.

No, I don't think they are personalized. It did get you recognition in the 'credits' or somesuch, so all the copies should be the same, i.e. have the same list of names in the code.
