Question regarding GBA Tiny Toon Adventures: Busters Bad Dream

This game apparently is also known as Scary Dreams, a Treasure developed title that I thought only got a European release. However, from time to time I see eBay listings that look like they are NTSC-US region versions. Are they pirate copies, or did this game actually get some kind of limited North American release?

GameFAQs also has a bit of an ambiguous 2006 listing as its U.S. release date.

Yes, there was a limited US release. I don't think it ever made it to stores though, I've only seen it sold online. The US version is called Scary Dreams. Buster's Bad Dream is the European version.

I don't think any major chains sold it other than Fry's. It was fairly common at independent game shops, at least here in California.
