Best Genesis/MD game

I ended up voting for Shining Force 2.
While I played through PS4 and S3&K at least a dozen times each growing up, I feel SF2 just has an unprecedented amount of depth and variability (is that even a word?) to it, which put it over the top by a smidgeon.


It also has an unprecedented amount of fun. I don't know if any other series has instilled in me such a strong feeling of just plain "fun" while I play. Every single time. :)

Phantasy Star IV by a good distance.
No sports games? plus i'm surprised by Shinobi IIIs strong showing to be honest and Alien Soldiers weak one.

S3&K is the best, with TFIV following

Rocket Knight Adventures and Panorama Cotton. They definitely should've been on there, along with Landstalker and Contra: Hard Corps.
Out of these, I'm gonna go with Sonic 2.

Shinobi 3 for me..great graphics, control, keeps you on your toes...been a shinobi fan since it came out on the master system.

I think Alien Soldier's low vote count is due to not a lot of people being willing to pay the high price for it or pirate it. Shinobi III on the other hand was played by many.
