I just bought Bug! Too for the Sega Saturn, using the "Buy it Now!" option. This is the first time I've ever done a "Buy it Now" one. Usually the price is way, way hiked up, making only the extremely desperate consider, but this was a different story.

I've been watching Bug!, Bug! Too, Clockwork Knight, Clockwork Knight 2 and Astal very closely. I want all these games, but the prices that they have been going for, have just been way too much for me to stomach. Typically, all these games will end with a winning bid in the 11 to 16 dollar range. Not only that, but with another good 5 or 7 bucks shipping thrown in for good measure.

The cheapest combo for the final bid and shipping that I have seen for any of these games was like $9.50 for the game and $5.95 shipping. For a total of $15.45. And I'm telling you, that's the cheapest I've seen lately. And on that one, it was the game in a generic CD case with no instructions.

So anyways, I see Bug! Too, with a "Buy it Now" for 4 bucks! I think to myself that the guy must have a 10 dollar fixed shipping price or something. Even then, at $14.00 for the complete game, it wouldn't have been too ridiculous (by Ebay standards of course, not reality). But the shipping was only $3.50. YES! So I get Bug! Too for $7.50 delivered. Sweet!

I only buy with buy-it-now.
The reason you don't see any good deals with buy-it-now is because people like me are watching them from 6-12 in the evening and getting all the good deals. :D

I used to get alot more BIN deals last summer. now ebay charges a nickel to use BIN and most casual sellers don't pay it.

A 50/60 Hz, Region switched Saturn with VCop2 box set, steering wheel and a few other games for £40 ($60) shipped ...

A 50 / 60 Hz, Region switched Saturn with Guardian Heroes, Bomberman, and a load of other games for £70 ($110) shipped (I made all my money back just selling Guardian Heroes and Bomberman!!)

Two Japanese Saturns for $10 apiece. Chase HQ / SCI for $15.00 shipped.

That;s just a few of the BIN bargains I have had ... I'm sure there are more though. I love BINs! If I get lucky buying, then I get a bargain. If I get lucky selling, I make a fortune ... I just sold three copies of Shining Force 2, for £35, £35 and £40 - and two copies of Ico for £26 each. All good!

I missed out on a Dragon Warrior 3 for $3 BIN by three seconds. Just didn't get my info in fast enough. I was soooo pissed. :(

I did get a Mega Man 2 for $.99 BIN once though. Three dollars shipping, so the total was $4. Not too bad.

I got a 600XL in its box for $25, shipping included. However, it turned out to be a dud, so last night, I got a newly listed 800XL for $28.95.

My best BIN was probly a NES toploader with a dog bone controller for 27.00 US and 6 $ for shipping. It was about a year ago.

nothing much to brag about, but i got my toploader with 30 or so quality titles for $140 shipped.......nothing great but......it was a good deal so i thought.

furthermore on toploaders, you almost have to look at all NES auctions......some people are just stupid. i was roaming auctions when i found a toploader posted but never mentioned it was a toploader, i contacted the guy and offered him $60 to ship the toploader and the 13 games with it. i ended up getting the 13 games and an extra SMB 2 complete and mint.....and a few people were onto the auction because......hah......it was at $50....so it caught some people's eyes......

great story now back to my meaningless life

Here has to be the score of the year for Buy-It-Now auctions! I sold the system for $50, the Deluxe Set book for $10, the Golf game for $75, the Stack Up game for $800. Gyromite has the famicom-to-NES converter too.

I've come across some other good things too which made $50+ each, but this one was the highlight of my summer.

I BINed five SNES RPGs for $7.50 once. About $12 with shipping for Secret of Mana, Breath of Fire, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Evermore, and Illusion of Gaia (I think those were the five). Sold three of 'em I had doubles of for approx. $100 and kept the other two. :-D

I got a 600XL in its box for $25, shipping included. However, it turned out to be a dud, so last night, I got a newly listed 800XL for $28.95.

Hey Apolloboy, did you win this one:

If so that was me you bought it from. :-D

@Achika, this looks to be going the same way as the sticky, but this was started off as something different. In fact alot of the posts aren't even for "recent" buys, just "scores" that were from BINs.

Yep, that's the exact same 800XL that's sitting on my desk right now. Now I gotta get a monitor cable so I can hook it up to my Commodore 1702.
