Does it count to use it in your VCS collection as one item of game? Like a game cart?

I would say yes since it was officially licensed (I am pretty sure it was...not too sure now).

Damn right it was officially licensed! I'm not saying I had the hard part (Jim Nitchals did SO MUCH for that thing!), but it definitely took some effort to assure it was legal.

And I am pretty sure there are at least two versions? I know Dom has the original version, then I obtained what I think was a re-release?

What where the differences anyway?

Man, I don't even remember all the differences, but the original was more limited, had a bunch of Vectrex stuff on it since it was (almost) public domain (the original release was entirely not-for-profit, so we met the conditions Jay Smith set about releasing Vectrex materials); the next release added a few more Starpath things we didn't have for the first one, added a couple Atari prototypes, but removed the Vectrex stuff because we made a small profit off of it (small, because unlike the first release, we had to pay royalties to the included games). I think the only way to tell the difference is that the first release is numbered, in marker, on the disc (the inserts are, I believe, the same).
