I have a MegaDrive 2, Japan model, that is running via composite which boots games (hence has sound) but the video is heavily distorted (ie, vertical coloured lines initially, then garbled mess). I tried via RF afterwards and got the same result. I suspect the system has an internal failure but I'd like some information if anyone else experienced this and or if it is repairable.
