I have questions about the SNES game 'Syndicate' ....this is a port of an old PC game where you are a group of masked thugs in a post apocalyptic world where you must fight and kill other gangs, use deception, etc....its like a cross between Shadowrun and the film Blade Runner....my questions are as follows:

Was this actually released in the US? Ive only been able to find pictures of the PAL release and SFC release. theres no US copies on ebay.

Is it true the Super Famicom version has an added save feature as opposed to password feature?

Thanks!

heres a vid of some gameplay: its a really great game! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZT-ygqY9I4

According to Gamefaqs, yes it was released in the US (Wow, not even a specific date release) http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/588769-syndicate/data

And it seems that for the Snes version there's a Gamepro review
http://www.mobygames.com/game/snes/syndicate

And from some emulator sites, it seems that there's a (U) version dump without it being tagged as (beta) or (proto)

So all of these 3 things would support that the game has been released in the US. I don't know much more about the game sorry

Yeah it was released in the US, I have it for Genesis and SNES. Both versions are hard to find but are in pretty low demand and don't have very high prices. Probably $10-15 for a SNES cart so don't overpay on the first one that pops up if you're looking to get it.

Yes, it was a legit NTSC release. Having said that, if anyone has a CIB in 8.5/10 condition or better, I'll pay you handsomely for it. PM me if you do, been looking quite awhile.
