I´m very curious about that, because there are a lot of "rare" SMS in USA that maybe are pretty common here, so...what is the most valuable game around there?, i need prices and if you own it...a pic! ;)

Thanks

Well, technically Outrun 3D was never released in the US. A number of European copies were sold in Canada, and a few of those trickled down to the US, but it was never available in stores in the US.

Yeah, I'd say Phantasy Star commands the highest price, and Buster Douglas Boxing is actually the "rarest".

There is no problem if it wasn´t released in USA, the point is that i want to know what is the most valuable, for example...Out Run 3D or Turma da Mónica...

Joe, can you possibly take a scan of the Buster Douglas box (front and back)...I've actually never even seen it before!

I know Fire & Ice is quite sought after, due to it's rarity.
Dynamite Headdy, and Battlemaniacs should fetch a good sum in the US as well.

I see this game come up often. It is rarer than some other games that were mass produced because it is one of the late releases, but not that much rarer. Still, a great game!

Well, I would probably rate Turma da Monica much rarer than Outrun 3d. You can find an Out Run 3d on ebay at least once a month. Turma da Monica (which is a Tec Toy Wonderboy III re-release/hack) has been listed on ebay once I believe. I have one myself, but I never see it for sale anywhere...although this may be different in Brazil.

What is the going rate of Phantasy Star? I did not think it was worth that much, I picked mine up at a goodwill for $2.00 last month.

Depends how you define "in stores" -- Radio Shack was offering it via an in-store catalog. In other words, they didn't have any on display, but you could order them from your local.

Bruce, the Buster Douglas Box scan is at my site. It's under the reviews section. Anyway, here it is.

Well as far as me "loving" a game, I'd say Spcae Harrier... I have to much history with that title.

As far as Value in $$$, I'd say Buster Douglas KO Boxing. That title completed my US collection.
