GameBoy Screen Cover

The screen cover on my original GameBoy has popped off. It is still in great condition and I am hoping for a simple repair.

I figure just a little mild sanding/scraping will do the trick, but any suggestions for easy removal of the old, crusty adhesive?

Once that's done, what's the best adhesive to reattach the screen cover?

Lighter Fluid will disolve the glue, just be careful to shield the LCD screen from exposure to the fluid in the process, a few strips of low adhesive painters tape should work.

Instead of re-application of the screen with glue I'd look for a thin industrial strength double-sided adhesive product.

i just used very small dabs of crazy glue lined around where its suppose to stick and so far its worked for me.
