So I've got this sealed big box Return to Zork, and I just noticed that it has a white "For Promotional Use Only" sticker under the plastic in the upper right corner. I assume this is just an oddity, and there is no large contingent of hardcore Zork fans that would pay dearly for it, but thought I'd check.

I know that CompUSA used to have big bundles with Return to Zork in them that would be promotional use, to be installed on their computers to show off what their machines could do, but they wouldn't sell them.

A downloadable copy of a game doesn't have the same value as a physical copy of the same game, especially when the game is vintage and complete. I'm sure that the game being available for download will effect the price a bit but there will always be collectors who want the original.

Not in my experience. Once an official download version is released the price of the boxed ones tends to go down a lot. I've sold full versions of Return to Zork for $10 at most, and while this sealed NFR version might be worth a few extra bucks to a collector, I just don't think it'll bring that much more anymore.
Of course, I can be proven wrong, so who knows.

Return to Zork was never a highly desirable or valuable game to begin with like older Infocom games from before they were purchased by Activision.
