I hate that Sega got cheap and started using boxes later in the Genesis lifespan. The short of it is that I printed out the covers and put them in the clam shell Genesis cases and tossed the boxes in storage.

One problem.... Sonic & Knuckles. I thought I had everything perfect. That is until I closed the case. The top part is too big so the case won't stay closed. Here are some pics.

So, does anyone have any ideas? I've considered using a universal game case but m OCD want the cases to match. Then I wondered if there is a large spline Genesis case with a cartridge holder like this one or all they all sized to fit the Electronic Arts sized cartridges?

use an EA case. alot of them were fatter

I did this exact thing (in fact you can probably find the post on this forum) with an EA case. With a little bit of cutting, it looks perfect.

Yeah, the more I look at it the more it seems that's my only solution.

I did this with an EA case and some cutting too, yep. It works.
