XSeed did a good job on Ys LE so far and looks like they won't disappoint Legends/RPG fans with Trails either...unlike Namco Bandai. Though that bar isn't set high. lol

I'm surprised they're releasing the first game in March, so close to the Ys I&II Chronicles release date. But gives me assurance that we'll have all 3 LoH games in the trilogy by year's end.

Anyone else surprised the amount of fanservice they've doled out in the last year alone (Lunar, Ys 7, Ys Felghana). Not to mention Half-Minute Hero, Fragile Dreams, Little King's Story (so I've heard) and all the other kick@ss stuff they've done justice. If they keep this up (and secure Half-Minute Hero Second for US), they might rival Atlus for king of the niche.

Your thoughts?

I think I've bought every one of those so far too.....I LOVE what XSeed has been doing :) I've been really happy with their stuff since they started bringing Wild ARMs games over though....

They've released Wild ARMs 4, 5, and XF, Brave Story, Half Minute Hero, Avalon Code, Retro Game Challenge, Ys7, Ys3, are about to release Ys Chronicles and the Trails in the Sky Trilogy. They've taken place as my favorite publisher.

You can't really forget all the amazing games Atlus has released. the Persona and SMT series, Tactics Ogre, Ogre Battle Limited Edition, Run Saber, Wacky Races, Kartia, Brigandine, and a lot of others. While now days Atlus has released some really good titles such as Demon's Souls, it really seems they have less focus towards the really good niche titles that kept it as our favored company in the first place. Being a bigger company now than they were before it's obvious they want to get more money, so releasing more titles that would get them more exposure from other people, while still keeping to their roots and releasing some niche titles here and there is the best we can hope for now days.

But yeah. XSeed has dethroned Atlus. They haven't released as many great games and certainly nothing can beat out Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together and Brigandine, but the amount of good games they have released so far shows me that they'll eventually surpass Atlus.

Also it's premium edition(it even says so on the box.) There's nothing limited about any of the XSeed releases. You can still find Lunar, Ys7, and Ys3 premium editions brand new. I'm getting all of the Trails in the Sky premium editions though.
