Sega CDX HELP!!!!

Does anyone know or have links to cdx troubleshooting??

My cdx sometimes restarts itself and makes weird sounds and shows noise on the TV. Anyone ever heard of this? :o

BTW the LCD screen that it has on the front, when i turn it on it is orange(normal) but then it kinda dims in and out everytime it accesses the cd.

Well, try a different power supply for starters. Any Genny 2 power supply will do.

While I try try to get a Genesis 2 adaptor, does anyone else have a clue as to what this might be?

Does anyone know which sega system the model MK-1479 ac adaptor is for? (that is the one that was given to me for the system)

Genesis 2 power supply. MK-2103

Output: 10V DC 0.85A

Genesis 3 power supply. MK-1479
Input: 120 VAC 60Hz 7W
Output: 10VDC 0.3A

Please note that the Genesis 2 AC Adapter and the Game Gear adapter are the same (I think the Nomad goes in there too, but I'm not 100% on it)

So is it true that you can use the genesis 2 adaptor on the cdx?? or is it a lie?

OK GUYS PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used the gamegear adaptor i got and it works beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
