For anybody who doesn't know how this goes, I'm going to quote Joe since his explanation is better than mine would be:


We've all got our milestones, whether it be "game number 1000", "complete collection x", "obtain all Activision cartridges", etc.

Each time you reach a milestone this year, enter it into this thread. It should be fun to check back in a year later to see what kind of progress we all made.

My first milestones of the year:

-1700th game overall - Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards for the N64. Currently at 1701.
-100th 2600 game - Flash Gordon.
-Kirby 64 also put me at 70 N64 games. That collection currently sits at 71.

A couple of small milestones for me tonight.

My 10th PS3 game, Heavy Rain.
My 25th, 26th, and 27th Wii games, Castlevania Judgement, No More Heroes 2, and House of the Dead 2 and 3.

I found The Bard's Tale for the NES on Friday... it not only put me at 260 NES games, but also put me at 1710 games total (current total: 1711).

Dragon Quest IV became my 50th DS game recently. I also now have a complete DSi collection. It's only four games, but hey, I got 'em all.

Also, I'm fast approaching the 100 mark on 360 and the 50 mark on Wii.

lets see....just passed the 650 game mark spanning across approx. 25 systems....1 game short of 80 on the 360...135 on the snes....my first sms game in hang on which came with the system

First Game Boy Advance game!, for the gameboy player I got recently.

Cracked 1,900 total games.
Cracked 1,500 total ps2 games and slowly lowering the number of unique games I need.(289 left to get) :)

In February I picked up Sega Screams Vol.2 to complete my North American Saturn collection. Now I try to pick up alphas/betas/protos/press releases...I know good luck. But I did manage to pick up the True Pinball Demo press release.

I've fallen behind on keeping track of milestones, but here's a few I've hit since April:

-1880th game overall - Seventh Cross: Evolution for the Dreamcast. Currently at 1885.
-150th PS1 game - V-Rally 2: Need For Speed. Currently at 154.
-110th Dreamcast game - Alienfront Online (with the microphone!). Currently at 114.
-100th GBA game - Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge.
-90th Xbox game - Star Wars Episode III: Return of the Sith. Currently at 92.
-90th Gamecube game, which was also a Star Wars title: Rogue Squadron II. That collection also currently sits at 92.
-50th Master System game - Astro Warrior.

Well, it turns out that I'm exactly at 1900 games at the moment. The game that put me there? Metal Slug 3 for the Xbox.

I wonder what my collection was at the last time I posted in one of these threads. Anyway, I just recently passed the 1200 mark. I don't know how you guys manage collections with several hundred more games than that, let alone those use you who have multiple times my collection. o_O My storage spaces are already pretty maxed out, so for the last few years, I try to not expand my collection by more than around 100 games per year (sounds like a lot, but with a few months a year, usually in the summer, of hunting in the wild and an eBay purchase, sometimes multiple game lots, now and then, 100 games can add up easily).

I have thinned down a great deal over the last few years, but I am still around probably 1600 unique games.

I just hit 100 sealed Atari games, and 400 overall.

Not sure my total. I've thinned it out to mainly NES/SNES/Game Boy, but I believe I'm right around 1000ish.

Just hit 450 total NES games. The game that was my 450th was Mighty Final Fight. :)
